The Department of Justice, under the administration of President Joe Biden, publicly disclosed on Tuesday the unsealing of documents that disclosed the apprehension of an individual in relation to the incident that occurred at the United States Capitol on January 6, 2021.

A Kentucky resident was apprehended by law authorities during an altercation in the Lower West Terrace tunnel, on the grounds of alleged involvement in the group that unlawfully entered the Capitol on that particular day. Based on court records, it is said that Barry Saturday was in attendance throughout the assault on law enforcement officials protecting the Capitol, and purportedly exhibited jubilation at witnessing a rioter abscond with a police shield.
