Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R‑GA) expressed her dissatisfaction with the annual defense policy bill, saying the draft likely involves financially supporting Ukraine in its war against Russia.
Congress proposed the 2024 National Defense Authorization Act on Monday, prompting Greene’s response. If the final bill includes further funding for Ukraine, Greene said she would not support it.

“I heard the National Defense Authorization Act may have money for Ukraine in it. The NDAA should only fund our military for our defense,” Greene tweeted Tuesday. “I want to be able to vote for a good NDAA, but I will not if it funds Ukraine. We should be pushing a peace deal not funding a war.”
