Virginia Eliminates Degree Requirements for 90% of State Jobs

Virginia Republican Gov. Glenn Youngkin on Tuesday announced a change in state hiring practices that would eliminate requirements or preferences that applicants for most state positions have a college degree.A press release from Youngkin indicated that the change will take effect on July 1 and affect roughly 90% of state positions.
